I became a financial adviser because....
I wanted to see the difference I would be making in my clients’ lives.. In banking, I felt I had less influence over clients’ choices and outcomes. Qualifying as a financial adviser gave me the chance to offer to make long-term relationships and offer truly personalised advice, and I’ve never looked back.
In 2022, I became a Chartered Associate (Adv DipFA), a milestone I’m proud of because it means I can give my clients the very best guidance.
If I could meet my 18 year old self and teach them one thing...
Enjoy the moment. The journey with its ups and downs is where the lessons are. Oh, and I should have bought something called Bitcoin when I first heard about it!
Fun Fact
I was once an extra in Casino Royale when it was filmed in the Bahamas. I also managed to sneak onto the Pirates of the Caribbean set and meet some of the cast!

Outside of Luma, you’ll find me…
At the gym (more likely in the sauna than actually exercising), playing football, or at a music festival in the summer. Travel is my biggest passion. My mum is from the Caribbean Island of St. Vincent, so I always feel at home in the sunshine.
