I became a financial adviser because....
I realised that a lack of understanding around personal finance is very common. When I saw how much of a difference a good financial adviser can make in helping people plan for their future and ease the stress around money, I knew this was the right career for me. I enjoy building long-standing, trusted relationships, and this role gives me the chance to do that every day.
If I could meet my 18 year old self and teach them one thing...
As a busy adviser with a young family, being fully present at home can be a real challenge. Looking back, I would have given myself a head start by learning how to balance studying, working & socialising.
Fun Fact
I started sailing at six years old on Hayling Island and became a sailing instructor by the time I was 16. I’m still an active member of Mengeham Rythe Sailing Club, and hopefully, my daughter will follow in my footsteps!
